Up until now it has been either too wet, too cold, too windy or I&#8217;ve been too busy.<\/p>\n<p>Last night looked perfect though, not warm with temperatures dropping to just below 6\u00baC, but light winds, dry and overcast. We put the trap out and then checked on it a little later. There were soon moths in evidence with quite a few Shoulder Stripes flying around and landing near to the trap.<\/p>\n<p>This morning, the contents were pretty much as expected:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>13x Shoulder Stripe<\/li>\n<li>1x Mottled Grey<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Nothing too exciting but at least our records are off to a start for 2011.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it&#8217;s been a while but we managed to put the moth trap out last night for the first time this year.
