Morgan in a Bubble<\/p><\/div>\n

We’ve just got back from a weekend visiting family in Bristol. Well, between Bristol and Gloucester really but we still call it Bristol.<\/p>\n

Morgan was pleased to see all his cousins and had fun playing with them. We obviously went to some shops as we feel as though we have to when we’re in the Big Smoke, but other than a pair of running shoes which I’ll post about elsewhere I think we only bought things in WHSmith and Boots, both of which are shops we have in Aberystwyth! Actually, Morgan did spend some of his Christmas money in Toys ‘R’ Us.<\/p>\n

We also went into Cnetral bristol on Saturday and visited the Bristol Aquarium. This is right on the dockside by the Watershed and this part of Bristol has certainly changed recently. I used to go to school right hext to this so knew it all pretty well, but it is now completely unrecognisable. It’s nice though and there certainly seems to be more to do. Plenty to look at and visit and of course lots of nice looking restaurants and coffee shops.<\/p>\n

The Aquarium itself was OK. Not amazing and very expensive, but the tanks themselves were fairly well thought out. Most of them had the usual suspects as far as fish go in them but it was nice to see a Marine European tank too. The talks that very given now and then were actually much better than I had expected.<\/p>\n

I guess there isn’t a huge amount you can do with an aquarium but it did seem expecisve for what was there. It did however also give us access to films (of a fishy nature) in the iMax 3D cinema. We watched one about sharks.<\/p>\n

It was a lovely family afternoon out though and I’m pretty sure that both Anna and Morgan enjoyed themselves which is the main thing. I did too.<\/p>\n
