Light winds and temperatures held up with a minimum of 9.6\u00baC so the trap was full this morning. Lots of micro moths but I&#8217;m not taking too much notice of those at the moment as I&#8217;m trying to familiarise myself with the macro moths first, but some of the micros last night were impressive including an iridescent yellow one.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the list of macros:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4x Yellow Shell<\/li>\n<li>13x Lackey<\/li>\n<li>5x <em>Oligia sp.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>3x Wormwood Pug<\/li>\n<li>1x Silver-ground Carpet<\/li>\n<li>1x Eyed Hawkmoth<\/li>\n<li>1x Shoulder-striped Wainscot<\/li>\n<li>12x Heart and Dart<\/li>\n<li>2x White Ermine<\/li>\n<li>2x Dark-barred Twin-spot Carpet<\/li>\n<li>2x Common Marbled Carpet<\/li>\n<li>1x Common Pug<\/li>\n<li>2x Foxglove Pug<\/li>\n<li>4x Grey Pug<\/li>\n<li>1x Small Magpie<\/li>\n<li>1x Large Yellow Underwing<\/li>\n<li>2x Heart and Club<\/li>\n<li>9x Dark Arches<\/li>\n<li>1x Broom<\/li>\n<li>1x Small Elephant Hawkmoth<\/li>\n<li>1x Purple Bar<\/li>\n<li>1x Bright-line Brown-eye<\/li>\n<li>1x Flame Shoulder<\/li>\n<li>1x Small Square Spot<\/li>\n<li>1x Buff Ermine<\/li>\n<li>1x Shears<\/li>\n<li>1x Bordered Sallow<\/li>\n<li>1x Willow Beauty<\/li>\n<li>1x Light Emerald*<\/li>\n<li>1x Shaded Pug<\/li>\n<li>2x Dusky Brocade<\/li>\n<li>1x Brussels Lace*<\/li>\n<li>1x Clay*<\/li>\n<li>1x Middle-barred Minor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Phew &#8211; 83 moths, 34 species and 3 new to me.
