Saturday wasn&#8217;t actually looking too hot with temperatures set to reach around 23\u00baC. It still made sense to get out on my bike earlier rather than later. So the day started with a nice little bike ride with Steve and Paul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" height=\"405\" width=\"590\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" scrolling=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/7476531699\/embed\/b86a8a37b9977be4c070851585a8916b0f282f47\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>I went a little harder than I wanted on one or two of the climbs, but I didn&#8217;t have anything too strenuous planned for later in the day so that was OK. The temperature was around 13\u00baC when we started but had risen closer to 20\u00baC by the end of the ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pizza Oven<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"amazon_ad_left\"><iframe sandbox=\"allow-popups allow-scripts allow-modals allow-forms allow-same-origin\" style=\"width:120px;height:240px;\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"\/\/ws-eu.amazon-adsystem.com\/widgets\/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&amp;OneJS=1&amp;Operation=GetAdHtml&amp;MarketPlace=GB&amp;source=ss&amp;ref=as_ss_li_til&amp;ad_type=product_link&amp;tracking_id=alslikklworls&amp;language=en_GB&amp;marketplace=amazon&amp;region=GB&amp;placement=B083WGMTGZ&amp;asins=B083WGMTGZ&amp;linkId=6da520b0e479195e8cedcdfd8bfe9aaf&amp;show_border=true&amp;link_opens_in_new_window=true\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Back at home we didn&#8217;t really do much for most of the day. Watched athletics, checked on the garden, watched the Tour de France and just chilled really. We did have to sort out the shower when the door fell off it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We then got the pizza oven out for an al fresco dinner in the garden. It&#8217;s a bit of a pfaff preparing the dough, rolling it out, organising toppings etc. But it&#8217;s quite good fun and it makes a change. The pizza&#8217;s themselves are nice enough and the oven cooks them well. Once it&#8217;s up to temperature it doesn&#8217;t take long though. It&#8217;s already beaten yesterday&#8217;s high as it&#8217;s currently 23.3\u00baC as I write this at 9:15am on Sunday. The forecast is looking like it might be the hottest day of the year so far &#8211; currently that&#8217;s 27.1\u00baC set on July 11th. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monday looks even hotter and could push close to the all time maximum temperature recorded here. The all time maximum is currently 33.7\u00baC set on 19th July 2006.
