{"id":20423,"date":"2015-11-02T07:20:35","date_gmt":"2015-11-02T07:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.alananna.co.uk\/blog\/?p=20423"},"modified":"2015-11-20T07:59:13","modified_gmt":"2015-11-20T07:59:13","slug":"autumn-heat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.alananna.co.uk\/blog\/2015\/11\/autumn-heat\/","title":{"rendered":"Autumn Heat in Aberystwyth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It may be autumn, the trees are looking stunning\u00a0in their autumn colours, but a new high record temperature for November in the UK was set yesterday.\u00a0Temperatures in Trawsgoed, near Aberystwyth, reached 22.3\u00baC on Sunday, beating the previous record of 21.7\u00baC, seen in Prestatyn in 1946.<\/p>\n<p>We managed to make the most of it though. The day started quite chilly for my bike ride in the dark at 6:30am and for some reason I was struggling on the bike today. I made it back to Machynlleth just before 9am though for a swim in the pool and then headed home for a second breakfast. I didn&#8217;t stop in Mach for my usual coffee as my parents were visiting for the weekend and it was now already 10am so they would be up and about.<\/p>\n<h2>Autumn in Aberystwyth<\/h2>\n<p>We all\u00a0headed into Aberystwyth where the temperatures were soaring.
