The hot humid weather with thunderstorms threatening was just perfect and the gravel pits in Cwm Rheidol certainly looked inviting..As usual there was a fair bit of time spent sorting the Scouts out with buoyancy aids, helmets, boats and paddles\u00a0but once on the water everyone had a really good time. They alway love kayaking and who can blame them.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0couldn&#8217;t resist capsizing Anna at the end, much to the delight of the Scouts.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oqhZH27ItX4\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0couldn&#8217;t resist going for a little swim afterwards either as the water looked perfect for it and I had my swimming wetsuit with me. I was going to ride home as well, but by the time we were finished and packed up it was getting a little late, rain was threatening and it was beginning to get dark too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We spent a nice evening courtesy of Aber Kayakers messing about on the water with the Scouts on Friday.
