<\/a><\/p>\nThe bees and survived well over the winter and we were pleased with the fact that we had been able to split them early to hopefully pre-empt any swarming. They have loads of brood, hopefully the split will be raising a new queen and all was looking good. Now we have to be on high alert for European Foul Brood (EFB) though. Those poor bees, if it’s not one thing, it’s another.<\/p>\n
