We’re only a couple of days into March, and therefore a couple of days into Spring, but nature is preparing.<\/p>\n

I managed to spend a few hours out in the garden at the weekend. There’s loads of work to do out there tidying up, weeding and cutting things back but I feel as though I’ve made a start now. Who knows, I might even get around to sorting out the front ‘garden’ one day this year as well.<\/p>\n

It was nice to see some signs of Spring though. The moles are waking up and making a mess of the lawn.<\/p>\n

I’m going to find their holes and put some moth balls into them again as that seemed to work once before.<\/p>\n

The Hellebores have been flowering for a while.<\/p>\n

The narcissus are flowering in more sheltered spots and the larger daffodils are on their way just in time for Mother’s Day as well.<\/p>\n

The crocuses have been open as well, but the cold winds we have at the moment have made them a little reluctant today.<\/p>\n
