It\u00a0was a lovely evening out there, if a little chilly now, although temperatures only dropped to 13.4\u00b0C overnight so it wasn&#8217;t that cold.<\/p>\n<p>We therefore had a nice little haul of moths in the trap this morning. The full list is was as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1x Square-spot Rustic<\/li>\n<li>1x Gold Spot<\/li>\n<li>2x Lime-speck Pug<\/li>\n<li>19x Flame Shoulder<\/li>\n<li>1x Brimstone Moth<\/li>\n<li>6x Flounced Rustic<\/li>\n<li>22x Large Yellow Underwing<\/li>\n<li>1x Dark Arches<\/li>\n<li>4x Small Square Spot<\/li>\n<li>4x Common Rustic \/ Lesser Common Rustic agg.<\/li>\n<li>1x Double-striped Pug<\/li>\n<li>1x Tawny Speckled Pug<\/li>\n<li>3x Silver Y<\/li>\n<li>1x Small Phoenix*<\/li>\n<li>1x Spectacle<\/li>\n<li>2x White-line Dart<\/li>\n<li>1x July Highflyer<\/li>\n<li>1x Small Wainscot*<\/li>\n<li>1x Antler Moth<\/li>\n<li>1x Smoky Wainscot<\/li>\n<li>1x Rosy Rustic<\/li>\n<li>1x Common Quaker<\/li>\n<li>1x Currant Pug*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Currant Pug, Small Phoenix and Small Wainscot were new garden records, but I didn&#8217;t take a photo of the Small Wainscot as I was sure we&#8217;d had one of these before &#8211; Checking my records I was mistaken and it was indeed a new garden record.
