Yesterday was Day 6 of Summer 2013 and once again we had wall to wall sunshine, light winds and a glorious day. Temperatures topped out at 23.1\u00b0C. If only we didn&#8217;t have to work and do the normal daily routine!<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s some summery garden photos for you. The Wedding Bells rose that we were given as a wedding present has finally started to spread and put on a show &#8211; it&#8217;s only taken it 9 years to get going! After <a title=\"The Moths of Summer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.alananna.co.uk\/blog\/2013\/the-moths-of-summer\/\">picking strawberries and checking the moth trap<\/a> it was time for some chores and breakfast. I did do a little bit of work after this, but broadband speeds had once again (as predicted) dropped to less than 0.5Mbps so working on websites was a frustrating task.<\/p>\n<p>I was due to go for a swim and collect Morgan from school, so I decided to head in early and meet Anna for lunch. My car was in the garage so I made the most of the sunshine and rode in to Aberystwyth. It would be quite a nice ride along the coast road if it weren&#8217;t for two big hills. The first climb out of Borth is brutal! At least I could have a shower once I got to the uni though and put my bike in Anna&#8217;s car whilst we went for lunch in Ta Med.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/app.strava.com\/activities\/66359060\/embed\/cfef5043d72ddf3f014e6caf6557bec05538038f\" height=\"405\" width=\"590\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I then headed off for a swim. 4.3km in total in the pool, not the most exciting of sessions but I stuck with it despite feeling as though I should have been outside. I certainly won&#8217;t be getting any more of them and I&#8217;m just glad I didn&#8217;t pay for them in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>After getting Morgan and dropping him off with Anna I had to walk into town to collect my car from the garage. I popped in Cambrian Tyres on the way to get a replacement tyre for my bike, collected my car and then heading off to the gym for a couple of hours &#8211; Another couple of hours indoors with the sun shining outside. I really should have spent more time outside today, but sometimes it just\u00a0isn&#8217;t possible.
