September Surf Ski

I haven’t posted any footage of me on my surf ski for a while. I have been out in it now and then but not as much as usual as I’ve been trying to get to grips with my new K1 instead. ON the few occasions that I have been out I haven’t taken my GoPro with me. I thought I’d address this today by taking it with me and heading off to the beach for a little paddle.

The conditions were nothing spectacular. Light to moderate NW winds, some small windblown swell and of course some chop. Not the best for any exciting video footage but here are a couple of minutes of it anyway to give you a taste of the session.

I didn’t do a huge amount, just paddled out to sea for a while then turned around for a bit of a ride in on the chop. I did of course do that several times.

It is beginning to feel a little autumnal out there now though, but that is to be expected as it is now September after all. There’s a chill in the air and the sea feels a little cooler as well. Time to start wearing some neoprene again when out paddling.
