Summer Sailing

Just a few quick clips from my windsurf session today as my GoPro was a little misted up, it wasn’t quite set up properly and I can’t be bothered to go through hours of footage looking for the best bits! It was a top notch windsurf session though so hopefully you’ll get the gist from just a few clips.

It couldn’t be anything but a good session really, not with sunny skies, warm waters and a decent 30 knot wind. Coupled with solid 4 foot surf there were some pretty big waves about out the back too. All of which provided some good ramps for jumping off on the way out and some good wave-riding on the way back in too.

I was sailing and maxed out with my 5m sail and 85 ltr wave board. Perfect summertime sailing and everything, even the windsurfing, is better when the sun shines.
