SUP Surfing, a Break in the Weather & Orchids

The amazing weather we’ve been having has finally changed and blue skies have been replaced by grey this morning on the beach.

It’s still warm at 15ºC throughout the night, and yesterday we reached a maximum of 26.3ºC, the hottest temperature of the year so far. There was a little bit of swell too yesterday evening, so with light winds and decent surf I couldn’t resist an evening SUP surf session despite the building clouds.

As you can see from the video, I got caught in quite a downpour! It’s just what the garden needed though and it looks as though the orchids in the dunes enjoyed the drink too as there were loads of them this morning.
