Summer Surf

Summer continues and Friday brought with it not only more wall-to-wall sunshine and temperatures in the high teens but also some summer surf.

So, after a short session on the turbo trainer and lots and lots of household chores we (Morgan and I) headed over to the beach form a summertime surf. We were due to meet Morgan’s friends James and Cameron there along with their Dad Mike, but they weren’t there when we got there so I headed straight out on my SUP and caught some lovely little waves while Morgan waited on the beach for the others.

The wind had got to the waves a little by the time the others came out to join me but they still had fun in the waves. It’s always nice when the sun is shining, you just can’t beat a summer surf.

The temperature actually maxed out at 19.9ÂșC, but not until 7:29pm. By then I;d done lots of gardening, mowed the lawn, built some new garden furniture and plenty of other things around the house too.
