A New Drive – Day 6

It’s still busy at work for us so we haven’t been able to be here whilst the workmen are in creating our new drive. It’s all going well though and after a few minor alterations and final preparations things are now ready for the tarmac.

The timelapse video starts today with the setting of the Moon and Jupiter, we then have a full day of sunshine and ends with the setting of the sun.

Hopefully now the tarmac will be laid today or tomorrow and we’ll have a new drive by the weekend. It’ll then be time to start work on the fences and finally creating some nice ‘flower’ borders so that we have a proper front garden. I have ‘flower’ in inverted commas as I think it’s actually going to be a border full of grasses, heathers and the odd juniper but we’ll see as these things always evolve based on what will actually grow.

I think we’ll need to clean the paving slabs and have a general outside Spring clean too.
