In reply to <a href="https://www.alananna.co.uk/blog/2016/12/installing-ground-level-trampoline/#comment-60920">Sam</a>.

Yep, it held up well. Our son is now 19 and has moved to Canada for a while now though so it was no longer needed. We therefore took it out(which was easier than I thought it would be, sold the trampoline and have since filled in and turfed over the hole.

So, it worked really well, the trampoline lasted a little longer than it would have done above ground level here and I think it was safer too. The only thing to bear in mind is that children have a habit of growing up and it doesn’t take long!!

Hooray, we pulled it off. We left a box under the tree with a note in it saying "Your main present was so big it wouldn't fit under the tree so you'll have to take a look in the big hole in the garden"

Morgan excitedly put his shoes and coat on and we headed out into the wind to unveil the trampoline. It was a complete surprise to him and soon he was bouncing with joy!

I think he's pretty pleased with it and I still can't believe that we managed to do that without him finding out or catching on!!
