Not really as the lean to doesn't extend along the full length of the house so removing the guttering would have meant installing new downpipes and then new drainage for them to drain into as well. Besides I don't think I've ever cleaned the gutters having lived here for 20 years so!

Would it not have been better to remove the house gutter above where the lean to is then that takes away the cleaning of the gutter?
