Slacklining Videos – One for You’ve Been Framed?

Morgan and I usually have an hour to kill on a Tuesday afternoon in between the end of school and when I drop him off with Anna at work. I then go to circuits, they have dinner, then Morgan goes to Archery, Anna goes to band and I go swimming, before we all finally go home! If the weather is nice we have found the perfect spot for some slacklining so tend to get in 20 minutes or so of practise. We are still very much beginners but we are getting better.

The session usually starts with a little tree climbing by Morgan, then we set the slackline up and see what we can do.

Just balancing on the thing is difficult but we are now able to take a few steps. Morgan likes jumping up and down on it as well, but I haven’t quite been brave enough to try that yet as I’ll only injure myself. I decided to take some video footage on Tuesday as well, and within seconds had a likely candidate for sending to You’ve Been Framed!

Fortunately my attempt that Morgan filmed was a little more successful so there will be no Harry Hill ridicule for me!

My word, that does not look easy! I watched a documentary recently about the Frenchman Philippe Petit, who did his famous tightrope walk and even dances between the Twin Towers without a safety net. What a guy.

Boooo!!! You’ve Been Framed rejected the clip.

No £250 for me and Morgan. 🙁
