British Summertime – We love it!

Sorry for the lack of updates here over the past few days, but the weather has just been far too nice. My job as a web designer has me sat in front of the computer all day long so over the weekend that was the last thing I wanted to be doing, especially whilst the sun was shining.

And what a weekend it was. The beginning of British Summertime, so the longer evenings are now with us and the weather was gorgeous. Wall to wall sunshine all weekend with the Borth & Ynyslas Weather Station recording a maximum temperature of 21.7°C on Saturday. Pretty warm at any time of the year for here, but amazing for March.

We made the most of it, spending almost all day outside, either working in the garden, inspecting the bees, building beehives, exercising or doing our bit for Sport Relief by running the mile in Aberystwyth. I’ll post about each of these activities later, but for now, here’s a nice photo of some springtime daffs from the garden yesterday.
