700 Pages of Full Colour Glossy Memories
I wouldn’t like to say how long I’ve spent on it – hundreds of hours probably – but I’ve almost finished the printed version of our ‘Simple Life of Luxury’ weblog book for from 2010.
The 2009 edition was 440 pages long and looks glorious, but the 2010 version should top that. It will be close to 700 pages long, far too long for a single volume so I’ve split it into two. As well as the usual full colour double page photographic spreads it has plenty of exciting layouts throughout covering an eclectic mix of topics: family days out, holidays, moth trapping, the natural world, cooking, gardening, technology, science, triathlons, windsurfing, mountain biking and much much more. On top of which I’ve produced a DVD that will accompany our book, packed full of video clips.
The first volume, January – June has just been finished an uploaded ready for printing in high quality full colour by Blurb. You can see the book in all its glory here. Volume 2, July – December will be ready soon.
