Out on the Road Bike Again.

It was a gorgeous Spring day here in West Wales on Saturday.

After a little bit of a potter in the garden and fixing of the water feature I headed off for a ride to Nant yr Arian on my new Road Bike with Jon. I met him in Aberystwyth and we headed out along the main road through Capel Bangor and on up to Nant yr Arian.

It was a little chilly but the sun was shining, the roads were dry and not too busy so we had a nice ride up the hill. I had trouble keeping up with Jon even though he was taking it easy, so once at the Visitor Centre the flapjacks were very welcome. It actually became a two-flapjack stop, rather than the one!. We then rode down into Ponterwyd and took the shorter route back, overt the hills and onto Penrhyncoch. It was lovely up in the hills, in the sunshine and away from the cars.

Not a huge ride, but nice to get out with Jon and good to see that he approves of my new bike.
