Conservatory Progress

Progress has been a little slower than expected on the conservatory so far this week because the builders have had some issues with their van so didn’t always have the necessary materials on the replacement van that they had to use. They were also called away this morning to tidy up a few loose ends on another job so are now not quite as far forward as they had wished to be.

They have however just about finished the soffits and fascia boards and should be making a start on the conservatory frame tomorrow.

Trouble is now that we have nice clean shiny soffits and fascia boards, it makes the render on the house look a little old and tatty. So, do we paint the house to make it look shiny and new, or just wait a couple of weeks so that the new fascia baords and soffits have a covering of grime and fit in with the rest of the house?
