Winter Windsurfing

It may be cold and wintry out there, but that doesn’t stop me windsurfing. Well, to be honest it did a little on Monday and then on Tuesday my back was aching so I didn’t get out either, but I made up for that yesterday with a nice session, well powered up in 30-40 knots of wind with my JP Wave board and 4.5m sail.

Air temperatures meant that my hands were a little cold, but once out on the water and used to it I soon forgot about that. Plenty of nice jumps, a few little wave rides and some big scary waves out the back. The wind was quite onshore so I had to sail all the way into Borth in order to make my way out beyond the waves. All good fun!
