In reply to <a href="https://www.alananna.co.uk/blog/2011/01/bristol-aquarium/#comment-20048">Trudie</a>.

Hi Trudie,
I think everything is that sort of price these days!. I didn't count the tanks, but there was one big one with lots of cod and such like, and a nice big reef tank, the other biggish tanks were a tank with rays and skates in and an Amazon tank with the usual suspects - Although these weren't that exciting.

Then there were smaller tanks around the place with the usual things, A Piranha tank, blind cave fish, some nice little tanks with jellyfish in that were a bit different and one with a big octopus. For most people I guess it's all pretty cool, but maybe not for us. 'Our' tanks were better in some respects, although Anna thought it was nice being able to look down on the reef tank as well as see it from the glass fronts and the tunnel as usual - I guess we forget that most people have never had the access that we had to such things..... I was quite tempted to jump into the reef tank just for old times sake and it's lucky the Piranha tank wasn't big enough for such antics otherwise I may have gone in there too! :)

By complete coincidence I was looking at the website for this Aquarium at the weekend. I hadn't even realised it was there. £13.50 did seem a bit steep for the entrance fee? How many tanks were there??
