Freezing Wales

It’s certainly been cold again and we broke an all time record (since my records from the Borth weather station began in 2005) again this week with a minimum temperature of minus 9.1°C and what’s more, the average temperature this week has been minus 3.5°C.

Mighty cold for anywhere but especially for here on the coast.

It looks as though it should warm up a bit over the next couple of days though as a southerly wind develops this afternoon. A shame really as I quite like the cold frosty conditions and the place certainly looks nice with all the snow.
