An Alternative Advent Calendar

It’s not long until Christmas, so time to start preparing. Whilst looking for presents for Morgan I came across this Lego™ City advent calendar.

OK, so it costs quite a bit more than an unhealthy chocolate advent calendar but you get a great Lego™ calendar with a new mini-build every day through the advent period.

And, of course, you still have the Lego after Christmas, rather than a chocolate addiction and rotten teeth

Looks good to me and it should add to Morgans Lego™ collection too. I’m sure Morgan will love it, afterall all, who doesn’t like Lego™! Hopefully he’ll let me open one or two of them as well!

There are others available as well, and if your child isn’t into Lego™ then there are also plenty from Playmobil™ and other manufacturers. Check the Amazon banner below for a few ideas.

It seems to have been a succes so far. We gave Morgan his Legoâ„¢ Calendar at the weekend so that he can start opening the doors this week.

He didn’t seem at all bothered about not getting a chocolate one and seems really excited by it. So much so that he is now counting down the days until he can start opening his advent calendar!

Morgan’s loving his Lego advent calendar, even if he was up at 6am to open it on the 1st December (imagine what he’ll be like on Christmas day!). I’m not sure how he managed to con me out of the chocolate from my advent calendar this morning though!
