Are they Redwings?.... I&#039;ll post a photo of the ones we have here in the garden later.... Although I haven&#039;t managed any good ones yet as they are pretty quick and pretty timid.

					<description><![CDATA[Really want to get some shots of the birds in our garden, got so many at the moment, but I can&#039;t get anywhere near them. Keep telling Noick I need a new lens!!!

Anyway, I&#039;m actually not all that good with birds, and we have had about half a dozen of &#039;something&#039; in the garden all weekend. They are about the size of a fat blackbird, almost large robin shaped(?) Brown with a few spots down the front, red flashes on the wings and a yellow stripe through the eye.

Any ideas?  Probably something really ordinary with it&#039;s winter plumage.  Will try to get a pic at some point.]]></description>
