Photo-walk around Ynyslas

I’ve just got back from a ‘photo-walk’ around Ynyslas… Unfortunately it was a typically grey day here in Wales with dull, overcast skies, a very flat light and little of real interest to photograph. I think walking around somewhere you have lived for years makes it even more difficult to take any decent photos as everything looks so run-of-the-mill that you just take it all for granted so getting inspiration is really difficult.

This is why travelling and photography go so well together as everything is fresh and new when travelling so you find inspiration all around. I feel a trip coming on!!

Needless to say I didn’t find much to inspire me today, but did take a few shots of the sculpture near the visitor centre which looks good whatever the light.
