Just bought a Canon EF50mm F/1.8 lens today, so gonna try that out tomorrow. And a snip at £85!

I’ve never have an issue with it and love the photos it gives. Plus it saved me £200 on the Canon.

Its made me realise that the 18-55 kit lens isn’t very good.. Sorry Trudie, you’re going to have to splash some more cash! I’m not the only one to have commented on this, but it doesn’t seem to matter what I do with the kit lens, if I enlarge the photos they always seem a little unsharp. he 70-300 Tamron that I have is quite a bit better, but so far my new prime lens is miles better.

Next on the list for me is the Canon 10-22mm!

I only have the Canon 18-55mm lens that came with the camera but a guy that I work with has been lending me a few different lenses to play with over the last couple of weeks before I make a decision.

It’s all down to how much you want to spend I guess?
