St. Davids Day Sail

Windsurfing in WalesI’ve been pretty busy with website design work lately and haven’t had much time to get out and play, but I couldn’t wait any longer and yesterday and today were windy so I just had to go out for a sail. I’m glad I did as the sun was shining too so I had a good day on the water which helped blow a few cobwebs away.
In fact it doesn’t actually take that long for me to go for a windsurf. I can get the wheel-barrow loaded up with my kit, walk across to the beach and rigged up within 10 minutes and it takes a similar amount of time to pack up, so 2 hours out of my day actually gives me over 90 minutes on the water. It is certainly a good way to spend St. Davids Day, which afterall should be a National Holiday, and it is nice to have a bit of the time during the day when I can switch off from work and think about nothing other than the next wave or the next gybe.
