I’m sure part of the enjoyment was that I made time for myself to sit and read which is something I haven’t’ done for a long time. I would certainly look out for other books by Elizabeth Buchan now and definitely want to read the first book in the series. I don’t think not reading that one first ruined ‘The Second Wife’ in anyway and the story is self contained in that respect. It had a few interesting twists and turns and I was slightly disappointed when I get to the end and realised that was it! I definitely could have kept reading to see how it all turned out in the long run.

If you fancy an easy to read book for your holidays I would definitely recommend this one. It ‘s not a brain stretcher but that suits me with ” year old Morgan trying to distract me at every opportunity.
