Butterflies

Well, part of the deal that allowed me to go on holiday recently was that Anna was able to have a couple of weekends to herself, so she has been off to Shrewbury where she met her Mum while I have been on Dad duties looking after Morgan.

Yesterday wasn’t too nice weather wise so I bundled him into the van complete with plenty of supplies and headed off to the Rheidol Valley. We went to the butterfly house there. It was nice, but not great and not really worth the £4.25 entrance fee. Is it me or are all theses ‘attractions’ really expensive these days? Morgan was interested in the butterflies for a few minutes but then just wanted to pick up stones and climb things!

At least the sun came out in the afernoon so that we could play in the garden as the trip to the Rheidol Valley didn’t take up much of the day. I think a visit to the garden centre is on the cards today, at least it is free to get in there and the fish, birds and rabbits there are just as interesting to Morgan.
